Do not interfere with Hindu Dharma

  • Bhumata Brigade president Trupti Desai opposes dress code implemented by Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple Trust

  • President of Hindu Mahasangh, Anand Dave issues a stern warning to Trupti Desai – Whatever has been decided by the Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple Trust, is their prerogative

(Dress code is a set of guideline for wearing appropriate clothing while visiting a temple)

Mumbai – “The Ganapati Temple Trust has the prerogative to decide dress code for the visitors to the temples. Do not interfere with this. Such guidelines by the Ganapati Temple Trust are necessary. Keep quiet and do not mess with Dharma,” warned Hindu Mahasangh President Anand Dave. (Congratulations to Shri Anand Dave who is alert and promptly protects Dharma).

Lately, a dress code for the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai has been implemented to which Trupti Desai reacted, “Siddhi Vinayak Temple should take back the decision for dress code”. (Who gives right to Trupti Desai for such statement. Is she an authority on Dharma ? – Editor) The Constitution gives individual freedom. Whosoever comes to the temples, comes because of their faith. Dress is secondary, faith is important. The priests in Siddhi Vinayak Temple are half-clad. Why does this decision apply to the devotees only ? (According to the Science behind loin-cloth, the priest wears it for the sanctity and by calling them half-naked, Trupti Desai is exposing her own ignorance about science behind spirituality (Dharmacharan). If she has no knowledge about spirituality, why should she even utter a word about Dharma ? – Editor)
