Textbooks should also include the bravery of soldiers : Actor Akshay Kumar

Mumbai – “History books should include stories of the bravery of Indian soldiers; because we often get to read about people like Akbar and Aurangzeb; but our real heroes, whose bravery saved the country, are the soldiers of the Indian Army. Their stories are still unpublished,” said Hindi film actor Akshay Kumar in an interview.

History books need to be revised

Akshay Kumar said that many things need to be improved in history books. We get to read about Akbar and Aurangzeb, but not about our heroes. Their names should also be in the books. We have many stories related to the army. Many soldiers have received the Param Vir Chakra. I think the stories of such brave soldiers should be told to the new generation.

Akshay Kumar said that I have deliberately chosen characters in my films that are not part of our books. People do not know about these heroes, because no one studies their stories in depth.
