Morocco to kill 30 lakh stray dogs before World Cup

Animal lovers protest from all over the world

Rabat (Morocco) – The North African country of Morocco has decided to kill 30 lakh stray dogs. It is being opposed from all over the world. In the year 2030, Morocco, Spain and Portugal have jointly organized the World Cup. Since crores of sports fans will watch the matches for this, Morocco decided to kill 3 million stray dogs.

A protest movement is going on in Morocco against this. Animal rights organizations are opposing this incident. Animal rights activist Jane Goodall has written to FIFA, asking them to look into the matter. There has been no official comment from the Moroccan government or FIFA.

Editorial Perspective

These animal lovers never see the suffering that ordinary citizens have to endure due to stray dogs, nor do they take any measures in this regard. They feel sorry for dogs; but not for the people, not for the children, who suffer. This suggests that a global solution should now be found regarding stray dogs.
