Bangladesh Govt is forming a Jihadi terrorist organisation

Zee News reports a claim by senior Bangladeshi journalist

New Delhi – New information has come to light in the backdrop of the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh. A senior Bangladeshi journalist has claimed that the interim Government in Bangladesh is forming its own terrorist organization, according to a report published on the website of ‘Zee News’; however, the name of this senior journalist has not been disclosed. The organization has been named ‘Islamic Revolutionary Army’ (IRA). This terrorist organization will be established on the lines of Iran’s ‘Iran Revolutionary Guard’ and its terrorists will be trained like Hezbollah and Houthi terrorists. Reportedly, it will be headed by so-called‘student leaders’. A fund of Rs 100 crore has also been allocated for the establishment of this organization. A plan called ‘Operation Octopus’ has been approved for this.

How was the plan revealed ?

A Pakistani ship from Karachi reached the Chittagong port of Bangladesh. The ship was carrying a large quantity of explosives. Its photographs have been circulated. The explosives were made by a Cambodian company. The Bangladesh Navy had stopped the ship; but after receiving orders from the Government, the ship was allowed to proceed to the Chittagong port.

Funds to be raised through drug trafficking

According to a report by Zee News, radical organizations like Jamaat-e-Islami will be used to recruit terrorists. Initially, minors will be recruited from madarasas; then, youngsters educated in colleges and universities will be recruited. Although a fund of Rs 100 crore has been allocated so far, there is also a plan to arrange more funds to carry out terrorist activities in the future. The funding will be raisedthrough drug trafficking, for which Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) and the Government have approveda supply route. Drugs will come from Pakistan to Bangladesh through the Strait of Malacca. From Bangladesh, they will reach the Philippines and then to Japan via Russia. Another route has been approved by Pakistan. The drugs will go to South Africa from Pakistan. From there, they will be delivered to the USA and Europe via Mexico.

Editorial Perspective

Considering the performance of the interim Government in Bangladesh so far, it is not surprising that such an organization is being formed. Pakistan has been running many Jihadi terrorist organizations and carrying out terrorist operations in India for the last 35 years.
