I will fight for those enduring oppression in Bangladesh

My battle for Chinmoy Prabhu continues
H.H Ghosh stated that he had attempted to secure bail for Chinmoy Prabhu by appearing in the Chittagong Sessions Court but was not allowed to do so. The next hearing for the case is scheduled for 2nd January, 2025. Advocate Ghosh declared that if his health permits, he will personally appear before the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Otherwise, he will arrange for a capable lawyer to represent the case, promising to continue the fight for Chinmoy Prabhu.
6,650 incidents of attacks on minorities in Bangladesh
H.H. Ghosh revealed that since the formation of the Interim Government in Bangladesh, there have been 6,650 incidents of attacks on minorities. He emphasised, “I am an advocate and have no connection with politics. Everyone should be equal before the law.”
Editorial PerspectiveConsidering the Government’s track record so far, H.H. Ghosh’s allegation holds significant weight. With the Interim Government of Bangladesh displaying a clear anti-Hindu and anti-India bias, it would not come as a surprise if anything untoward happens to Chinmoy Prabhu in the prison. This underscores the urgent need for global efforts to secure his release. |
