Shirdi – Hundreds of temple trustees gathered at the Temple Trust State Conference in Shirdi have decided to make temples, which provide spiritual energy to the society, the centers of education of Dharma. For this, the trustees decided to implement various religious propagation activities in the temples. The trustees have decided to put up religious awareness boards in 108 temples and to implement a dress code in 98 temples. This important decision was taken at the ‘Maharashtra Temple Trust State Conference’ held in Shirdi, informed the Mandir Mahasangh. More than 875 people, including temple trustees and office bearers, participated in this event. The Temple Trust Conference concluded on December 25th.

Temple trustees have shown their readiness to immediately stage a protest in 49 places in the State if there is an attack on the nation or religion. The trustees have decided to start a ‘Balsanskar’ class in 5 temples. To alert Hindus about various attacks on Hindu Dharma and the nation and to unite them immediately, an important decision to implement the concept of ‘Collective aarti’ at the temples has been taken by the trustees who attended the event. The trustees present at the event decided to try for this once they return to their respective locations.

Political differences among Hindus are fine, but there must be unity to protect Dharma : Pujya Sudarshan Maharaj Kapate, Maharashtra State Vice President, Global Mahanubhav Sangh

Pujya Sudarshan Maharaj Kapate

1. While encroaching, non-Hindus gather like ants making an anthill. Hindus, however, are divided along caste lines and political lines. Even if there are political differences, there should be unity among Hindus for the protection of Dharma.

2. Every Hindu should think how temples can be protected. Where Muslims are in the minority, they pretend to be secular; but when they become the majority, they convert people of other religions and attack their religious places.

3. A temple is a place where God resides. In Hindu Dharma, before installing an idol in a temple, the Deity’s pranapratishtha is done. No other religion has a concept similar to this.

4. In Mahabharat, even though Deity Shrikrushna himself was an incarnation, he did not take up arms, rather encouraged Arjun to fight. These attacks are meant to awaken dormant Hindus. Hindus should come together and respond to these attacks.

5. Not only non-Hindus, but everyone who endorses the ideology of ‘secularism’ is a threat to Hindu Dharma. In the name of ‘secularism’, they are trying to diminish the importance of Hindu places of worship.

6. When Hindus come together, Hindus should discuss Sanatan Dharma, not politics. The Mandir Mahasangh is working to protect temples; but every devout Hindu should contribute to this work.

Media needs to be sensitized : Sarita Kaushik, Editor, ABP Majha

Sarita Kaushik

1. We need to understand what the meaning of media is. Media include newspapers, television and digital media; however, all of these are changing. Therefore, we need to constantly monitor these changes.

2. Since it is necessary to change ourselves with the times, the format of the news should also change according to each media outlet.

3. Newspapers need supplementary information in written form, while television needs information in visual form. Celebration, excitement, and crowd can have an important place in the television. Since digital media is a mixture of both, relevant information should be given.

4. General public is more interested in politics and social work. Therefore, the media also pay more attention to them. It is necessary to have prior planning to attract the attention of the media for your initiative or programme.

5. Every organization must have a press representative so that he can stay in constant touch with the media. It is necessary to educate the media and sensitize them.

6. While sending news, it should be attractive. The importance of the news should be conveyed. Along with that, it is also necessary to be active on social media. This will reduce dependence on the media. The news of an initiative should be given immediately.
