Supreme Court’s asks Union Govt

New Delhi – How long are you going to give free stuff? The Supreme Court has told the Union Government that there is a need to provide employment opportunities to migrant workers who are getting free rations after the Corona epidemic. An NGO has filed a petition in this regard.

During the hearing, the Union Government told the court that 81 crore people are being given free ration under the National Food Security Act. On this, the court sarcastically asked Solicitor General Tushar Mehta and Additional Solicitor Aishwarya Bhati that this meant that now only taxpayers were left to get freebies.
