Clash between Police and cow smugglers in Bharatpur (Rajasthan)

100 cows rescued

Bharatpur (Rajasthan) – After an encounter between the Police and cow smugglers in the Chowki Lake area here on the night of 3rd November, the cow smugglers fled leaving the truck. 30 cows were found in this truck. These cows were being taken to Nuh in Haryana for slaughter.

According to the members of Gorakshak Dal, when the truck came, the Police tried to stop it. The truck driver started firing at the Police. The Police retaliated. After this, the smugglers left the truck and ran away. The Police searched for them but could not find them; but they found 100 more cows. All the cows were resuced and sent to Rudawal Shri Krishna Goshala in Bayna and Ikran Goshala in Bharatpur.

Cow smugglers have the courage to shoot at the police, this shows how well-prepared they are. There is a need to make a law to hang such people to death.
