Dhaka (Bangladesh) – It is widely known that minority Hindus in Bangladesh face continuous attacks. Hindu community has made significant sacrifices for Bangladesh’s independence in 1971, yet reports indicate 3,036 cases of attacks and atrocities against them. Despite leadership under figures like Sheikh Hasina and Khaleda Zia, no Government has effectively intervened to protect Hindus or uphold their rights; oppression has persisted under every administration. Pujya (Adv) Rabindra Ghosh, the Founder President of ‘Bangladesh Minority Watch’, has called upon the global community to raise its voice in defence of Bangladesh’s minority Hindus. He shared a video appeal on this matter with Sanatan Prabhat.

Pujya Ghosh further stated,
We have consistently protested against the atrocities faced by Hindus.
Time and again, we have appealed to the Government of Bangladesh to protect minority Hindus, but our efforts have been in vain. If these attacks are not stopped, Bangladesh’s minority Hindus will face ethnic eradication.
Our fight is to protect the lives and property of Hindus in BangladeshPujya Ghosh stated that by accepting the responsibility of safeguarding human rights in Bangladesh, they have conducted ground-zero investigations into atrocities, murders, threats, gang-rapes, and other crimes against minorities in the country. We are committed to protecting the lives and property of Hindus in Bangladesh. We have visited Districts such as Dhaka, Chittagong, Dinajpur, and Rampur to inquire about the atrocities faced by Hindus in these areas. |
