Hindus prevented from constructing temple roof in a Muslim-majority village in Unnao (Uttar Pradesh)

  • 32 people arrested

  • Hindus should take permission for the construction : Administration

Unnao (Uttar Pradesh) – Islamic fundamentalists tried to stop the construction of the roof of Shiva Temple in Muslim-majority Ranipur village here. Local Muslims in the village, namely Nihal, Anees Khan, Asghar Khan, Shoaib, Salim, Yunus, Achhe and Rais, say that the construction activity would disturb the namaz in a nearby mosque, which is only 100 metres away from this temple.

1. Ranipur village has more than 125 Muslim families and only 25 to 30 Hindu families. There is a Shiva Temple in this village which is more than 70 years old. The temple has walls and pillars on all sides; but there is no roof. Muslims have opposed its construction. After this dispute on 7th and 8th October 2024, the Police arrested 26 Muslims and 6 Hindus. Now this controversy has started again on social media.

2. The divisional officer Rishikant Shukla says that the permission of the administration has to be obtained before doing any construction at a religious place. Hindus have been asked to take permission from the administration. If permission is given by the administration, the construction of the temple can be completed. A report of the entire case has been sent to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate.

Editorial Perspective

Not in Pakistan or Bangladesh, but in India, and that too in Yogi Adityanath ruled Uttar Pradesh, religious fanatics can dare to do this. This shows how arrogant Muslims are and how pathetic the condition of Hindus is ! To change this situation, it is necessary to declare India a Hindu Rashtra.
