Bhingar (Ahilyanagar) – During the Navaratri festival at Dwarkadhish Colony, a Goddess idol was installed in the pandal, and kalash rituals were performed in front of the idol. On October 10th, a group of minor religious fanatic girls entered the pandal with their faces covered and desecrated the kalashas. Upon learning about the incident, local Hindutva supporters gathered at the Bhingar Camp Police Station to demand immediate action. Shiv Sena leader Smita Ashtekar also arrived at the Police station soon after hearing the news. The Hindu community has demanded immediate identification and arrest of the girls responsible for this act. They have even provided the Police with video evidence showing the girls exiting the pandal. (In Ahilyanagar, such acts hurting Hindu religious sentiments have become alarmingly frequent. Desecration of Goddess kalashas is equivalent to the desecration of Goddess ! The audacity of these fanatics to target Hindu temples and religious sites stems from the lack of fear of law enforcement. This is shameful for the Police force – Editor).

Who is orchestrating such acts ? Who is the mastermind behind this ? Smita Ashtekar and the Sakal Hindu Samaj have issued a stern warning that the individuals responsible must be identified and held accountable. If swift and decisive action is not taken against the culprits, the entire city of Bhingar will face a shutdown.

Editorial Perspective

Why should such a demand even be necessary ? Shouldn’t the Police take action by themselves ?
