Conspiracy to kill Hindus by attacking Ganesh immersion procession at Davanagere (Karnataka)

Police FIR reveals

Davanagere (Karnataka) – On the evening of September 19th,a group of 70-80 individuals attacked the immersion procession of Shri Ganesh idol in Azad Nagar, near Mudegaudu Mallamma Murigeppa School on K.R. Road. According to the Police FIR, this group had planned the attack with the intent to kill Hindus.

As the immersion procession approached the water tank near Jagalur bus station, it was suddenly attacked with stones. An estimated 70-80 youths, emerging from the Narasraj Pete main road, launched the attack. Several Police officers present at the scene were injured in the incident. The authorities quickly dispersed the attackers, allowing the procession to continue forward. 6 FIRs have been registered in connection with this stone-pelting attack, and so far, 48 individuals have been arrested. Superintendent of Police Uma Prashant has stated that more arrests are expected based on the evidence collected as the investigation progresses.

Editorial Perspective

Due to the Congress Government in Karnataka, religious fanatics have got free hands. There is little chance that the Government will take strict action against the concerned in this case.
