Muslims install Arabic flags on the buildings built under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Vadodara (Gujarat) – After Surat, there is now tension in Vadodara, Gujarat during Ganeshotsav. The tension arose when Muslims installed Arabic flags on some of the buildings constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. There are 450 houses in the 10 storeyed building. Out of these, 48 houses have been given to Muslims and the Arabic flag has been installed on these houses. (No matter how much Muslims are developed under the scheme of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas Sabka Prayas’ (Support of all, development of all, trust of all, efforts of all), they will never be able to win the trust of India as their true nature does not change – Editor). This incident is said to have happened on 9^thSeptember.

1. The incident took place at the ‘Urban Seven Towers’ constructed under the Prime Minister’s Scheme in Vasna Bhayli area of Vadodara city.

2. As there are majority of Hindus in this building, they have installed Shri Ganesh idol on the occasion of Ganeshotsav. Also, the Hindus living in one of the buildings have established a Ganesh Mandal and are celebrating the public Ganeshotsav there.

3. A Muslim there installed Arabic flag on his house citing the public Ganesh festival as a disturbance. The local Hindus strongly opposed it. This brought other Muslims together and they insisted on not removing the flag. They threatened the protesting Hindus, and the Arabic flag was hoisted over all 48 Muslim houses.

4. The Hindus demanded through the media that the Muslims installing the Arabic flag on the house is a tenant and the respective property owner should not give him his apartment on rent. These people try to disrupt harmony during Hindu festivals.

5. The Police and the Corporator rushed to the spot and settled the matter.

Editorial Perspective

Do Hindus ever oppose Muslim festivals like Eid ? However, be it Hindu or Muslim festivals, Hindus are targeted by the Muslims. Effective Hindu unity and their empowerment on physical, mental and spiritual levels is the only solution to this problem.
