Conspiracy to bring economic chaos in India : BJP

BJP criticises Hindenburg’s allegations

New Delhi – The BJP has raised questions on the allegation made by the organisation ‘Hindenburg Research’ on 10th August against SEBI, which controls the stock market in India. BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad alleged a conspiracy to disrupt India’s economy. He was speaking at a press conference.

BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad said,

1. “After being rebuffed by the people of India, the Congress party, its allies and the toolkit gang have conspired together to usher in economic anarchy and instability in India. Hindenburg report was released on 10th August, there was uproar in India on 11th August, and the share market destabilised on 12th August.

2. India is a safe, stable and promising market in the shares as well. It is SEBI’s legal responsibility to ensure that the market runs smoothly. When SEBI issued a notice against Hindenburg, after completing its entire inquiry in July, which was done under the supervision of the Supreme Court, then without giving any answer in favour of its defence, they have made this a baseless attack,” Prasad said.

3. Who owns the investment in Hindenburg ? George Soros is the one who regularly spews propaganda against India. It should be noted that he is a major investor in Hindenburg.

4. If India’s stock market suffers, small investors will suffer; but Congress is not worried about this. Congress wants to destroy the entire stock market. Small investors want to stop capital investment and try to avoid financial investment in India.
