Madarasa students vandalise Hanuman idol in Ramayan Park at Rampur, UP

Rampur (Uttar Pradesh) – Madarasa students vandalised Hanuman idol present in the Ramayan Park at Rampur. Upon receiving information about this, devout Hindus began protesting. Large number of Muslims too gathered at the location, which created tension in the locality. The Police and the local MLA Akash Saxena rushed to the site. MLA Saxena demanded legal action against the culprits.

1. MLA Saxena claimed that the Rampur Development Authority is entirely responsible for the vandalism at Ramayan Park in Panwariya, as the park was built by the authority four years ago. They should have also made plans to preserve these idols, however, this was not done and mischievous elements vandalised the idol. I have discussed with the District Collector in this context, and instructed to take concrete steps to preserve and protect the idol.

2. Aligarh’s senior SP Atul Srivastava said, “On getting the information about the incident, we went to the site and began the investigation. A thorough investigation will take place and then action will be taken against the culprits.”

Editorial Perspectives

  • Please note that the Government is actually harming the Hindus by endowing the madarasas with 100s of crores and letting them flourish.
  • Hindus must start a nationwide movement to close down the madarasas across the country.
