Pune – Implicating a reputed lawyer like Advocate Sanjeev Punalekar in this case is a serious matter. He was falsely accused out of vindictiveness, which is shocking. Advocate Sanjeev Punalekar has been defamed in this. He should be compensated. As alleged, Kalaskar met Advocate Punalekar in his office. In that regard, the CBI has not investigated or mentioned the location of Kalaskar’s mobile phone. The laptop was seized, but it was not sealed. It is admitted that the seized laptop was not shown in the court record. The CBI had claimed that the laptop contained some important evidence. It was said under oath that there was evidence in the laptop; but in reality, no such evidence was found. The laptop was seized because of a threat letter, but it turned out to be an invitation letter. Looking at all these sources, we will give the next fight in the court.
Today’s verdict has delivered justice. We are saddened that two individuals were sentenced by producing false evidence. Identity parade was not carried out. We will go to the High Court. We are confident that both of them will be acquitted when all the evidence is presented.
