Hindu wedding procession attacked by Muslims in front of a mosque in Alwar, Rajasthan

Alwar (Rajasthan) – A Hindu family’s groom was attacked by a Muslim mob as he arrived in procession in front of a mosque in Rajasthan’s Alwar District. Many wedding guests were injured in the attack and are undergoing treatment at the hospital. Allegations of women being molested have also surfaced. The Police have registered a case against the accused and arrested 4 persons. Further investigations are ongoing in this case.

According to media reports, a ‘DJ’ was playing during the wedding procession. When the procession passed through the village and reached in front of the mosque, some people from the Muslim community came out and asked them to stop the ‘DJ’. When the guests attending the wedding refused, a dispute broke out between the two groups. Suddenly, the Muslim mob started pelting stones at the wedding guests and attacked them with sticks. Women and girls among the wedding party were also injured in the attack. Upon receiving information about the incident, the Police team arrived at the scene. The attacking individuals fled upon seeing the Police. The Police are searching for the accused.

Why should Hindus tolerate the sound of namaz recited from the loudspeaker 5 times a day, if the Muslims cannot tolerate even a wedding procession passing in front of the mosque ?
