Floods in Oman and Bahrain too
Dubai (UAE) – Heavy rains on 16th April led to flooding in Dubai. Airports, Railway and Metro routes and roads etc were flooded. Flood water could not be drained even on the next day. Normal life is disrupted. Several flights have been diverted. The Administration has declared holiday to schools. Citizens have been advised to go out only if necessary.

Videos showing the flood condition are being circulated on the social media. In the Commercial Complexes, the water has reached knee-deep level. Bahrain, Oman, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah are also witnessing floods. 18 people have died in Oman.
