
Afzalpur (Karnataka) – During a second Pre-University Course exam, an on-duty Police Constable was assaulted as he did not allow two individuals to enter the exam-hall, to help copying. This incident took place near Karajgi exam centre in Kalburgi Taluk.
At the exam-centre, Police Constable Pandit Pande was on duty. Kailas Sakkargi approached him and threatened by saying, if he was not allowed to enter the exam hall to help his sister to copy, the Constable would have to face serious consequences. When Kailas tried to enter the exam hall, the Constable stopped him. Kailas and his friend Sameer Naduvinkeri snatched the lathi from the constable and assaulted him.
