Sajid slits throats of two minor Hindu boys in Budaun (UP)

Budaun (UP) – Sajid, running a barber shop, slit the throats of two small Hindu boys on 19th March 2024 in the evening. It is said that Sajid even drank the blood of the boys after their murder. Sajid absconding after committing the crime was killed in a Police encounter. His brother Javed was also a party to this crime and is absconding. The search is on for him. The enraged residents broke Sajid’s barber shop and set it on fire. They also attacked the Police station. Presently, Police deployment has been buffed up in the area.

The incident took place in Baba Colony in the Civil Lines area where Sajid has a hair-cutting shop. Across the street, there is a house of Vinod Kumar where his wife Sangita runs a beauty parlour.

Sajid had been to this house on the day of the incident. He asked for a loan of Rs 5,000 from the children’s mother. The woman agreed to lend the money. Then Sajid went to the terrace of the house to see the beauty parlour.

Sangita’s son Aayush (14) went to Sajid with tea. Then Sajid asked for water when the other son Ahaan (6) went to the terrace with water. He saw Aayush’s throat was slit with a knife.

Sajid then caught hold of Ahaan and slit even his throat. Hearing Ahaan’s cry, Piyush (7) reached there when Sajid tried to catch him, but he ran away and told his mother. By then, Sajid came down and ran away.

People saw blood stains on Sajid’s clothes, so, they had a doubt. At the same time, Sangita also started screaming; therefore, people chased Sajid and informed the Police. They started a search for Sajid. They located him in a nearby jungle.

Police tried to nab him, but he started firing at the Police, hurting a Police Inspector. Later, the Police returned the fire in which Sajid died. The residents have accused Sajid’s brother Javed as a party to the crime and the Police are hunting for him.
