New Delhi – Maldives’ economy began sliding down after it took an anti-India stance. After Maldives, now Canada, which took anti-India stance, is on a brink of economic recession. The number of establishments declaring bankruptcy in Canada is increasing rapidly. In January alone, 800 establishments filed for bankruptcy.
The country’s economy is strong, but smaller companies and other consumers are struggling, the Canadian Government has claimed.
Canada’s gross domestic product (GDP) shrunk by 1.1% in the previous quarter. If there is a decline for two consecutive quarters, it is called a recession. This has created a crisis for Canada, with 800 establishments filing for bankruptcy in January.
