Bareilly (UP) – Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has been implemented across the country. People are being explained about this law in Uttar Pradesh. Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi from the sensitive Bareilly District of Uttar Pradesh has openly supported the CAA. Maulana Rizvi has welcomed this law.

Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi said that ‘All India Muslim Jamaat’ welcomes the CAA. This Act has nothing to do with Muslims. This Act has been made for non-Muslims who have come from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan and have been living in India for many years. The Government has made this law to give citizenship to those who have not got citizenship.

Criticism of the Samajwadi Party

Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi of Bareilly said that Muslims in India need not fear this law. This law cannot take away the citizenship of anyone, but it is a law to restore citizenship. Maulana Shahabuddin while criticising Samajwadi Party said that some political parties want to use Muslims in elections and are trying to play political games by showing fear of CAA. Samajwadi Party is trying to scare Muslims. On this strength, this party wants to get votes in the Lok Sabha elections.
