
New Delhi – Mohammad Ghouse Nayazi, a fugitive criminal accused of killing a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) functionary in Bengaluru, has been arrested and extradited to India from South Africa, the Police said on Saturday.
Nayazi, an active member of the banned terrorist organisation ‘Popular Front of India’, allegedly plotted and killed RSS leader Rudresh R in Bengaluru in 2016. Nayazi has been arrested due to NIA’s efforts. The NIA had declared a reward of Rs 5 lakh for providing information about him. Nayazi absconded after killing Rudresh and lived in different countries.
4 others have been arrested till now in connection with Rudresh’s murder. The main accused, 40-year-old Azim Sharif, was arrested by the Police in 2016. This terror act was done with the intention of spreading fear among the Hindus.
