A new case of ‘Love Jihad’ has come to light in Uttarakhand

Kashipur (Uttarakhand) – A new case of ‘Love Jihad’ has come to light in Kashipur area of Uttarakhand. Two Hindu sisters, while on their way to a tutoring class, were attacked by two Muslim youths named Fardeen and Rauf with sharp weapons. Fardeen had molested one of the victimised Hindu students for which he was sent to jail. He was out on bail. Fardeen and his family pressurised the student victim to withdraw the molestation complaint; but on refusing to do so, the accused attacked the victim fatally in which the 17-year-old minor Hindu girl was seriously injured. The Police have arrested Fardeen and Rauf in this case.

1. Following the assault, family and relatives of the accused Fardeen visited the residence of the victimised girls. They reportedly issued threats to the parents and coerced them into withdrawing the case.

2. Upon receiving news of the attack on the Hindu students, members of Hindu organisations swiftly mobilised and converged at the Police station, demanding the immediate arrest of the perpetrators.

3. The Police have officially filed a case against the accused, resulting in the arrest of both perpetrators. Police Sub-Inspector Pradeep Mishra revealed that an ongoing investigation is underway to delve deeper into the matter.
