Around 50 to 60 years ago, utensils made of brass, copper were used in each household. In course of time, they were replaced by attractive looking steel and aluminium utensils. That the utensils, in addition to being convenient and attractive, should also be Sattvik, was forgotten by all.
Scientific research was conducted using the Universal Aura Scanner (UAS) to study the effect of different metallic utensils on water. The comparative analysis of the observations in the study showed that water kept in utensils made of asattvik metals, became highly contaminated in a short time; on the contrary, water kept in utensils made of Sattvik metals, became pure in a short time.
The Universal Aura Scanner (UAS) was developed in 2005 by Dr. Mannem Murthy, a former nuclear scientist from Telengana. By using this instrument the energy and the aura of an object, a premises, an animal or an individual can be measured.
1. Observations of utensils made of different metals :
Utensils of different metals were studied before keeping water in them. Their observations are given ahead
Utensils | Negative energy aura (metres) | Positive energy aura (metres)
Infrared energy | Ultraviolet energy
1. Steel utensil | 22.40 | 18.50 | 1.16 |
2. Brass utensil | 0 | 0 | 6.28 |
3. Copper utensil | 0 | 0 | 7.68 |
4. Silver utensil | 0 | 0 | 8.48 |
5. Bronze utensil | 0 | 0 | 13.27 |
2. Analysis of the water in different utensils :
For this study, tap water from a house was collected in a plastic bottle. UAS reading of this water was taken before putting it in different metallic utensils. Then readings were taken as given ahead
A. Immediately after pouring water in the utensils,
B. After 10 minutes of keeping water in the utensils
C. After 20 minutes of keeping water in the utensils
The observations in the study are given ahead.

3. Analysis of the observations
A. The negative energy of water after keeping it in the steel utensil increased progressively. From this, it can be deduced that ‘After keeping water in a steel utensil, it gets impure’.
B. Brass, copper, silver and bronze are progressively more sattvik. By keeping water in the utensils of these metals for 10-20 minutes, its negative energy disappeared and its positive energy increased to a large extent. This indicates that water kept in the utensils of these metals becomes pure in a short time.
4. Appeal to readers – Use utensils made from brass, copper etc rather than steel ! : In day to day life, we use steel utensils for water collection, cooking, having food etc. Just 10 to 20 minutes of keeping water in a steel utensil has such a huge negative impact, then cooking in steel pots and consuming the food in steel plates and bowls will have even more impact on us. From this study, it can be derived that using steel utensils is not beneficial. Using utensils of brass, copper and avoiding steel will ensure physical, psychological and spiritual well being !’
