Sri Lankan navy arrests 6 Indian fishermen

Colombo (Sri Lanka) – Sri Lankan navy has arrested 6 fishermen and seized two boats. Sri Lanka alleged that these fishermen were fishing in the Sri Lankan Sea. In the last week, 18 fishermen were arrested.

Editorial Perspective

Sri Lanka has been cracking down on Indian fishermen for the past few years. Pakistan also does the same with our fishermen in the Arabian sea. In this context India should make efforts to define our maritime boundary, for the
fishermen.
