New Delhi – The ‘Federation of Western India Cine Employees’ has appealed not to shoot the films in the Maldives and asked to find alternative locations from India for the same. The organisation made this appeal through a letter, after some Maldivian ministers made derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Modi and India.
The letter further requested the filmmakers who have planned to shoot a film in the Maldives, to cancel their reservations and find locations similar to the Maldives within India and shoot there. This will also promote tourism within India, the letter stated.
