Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh) – A Muslim girl named Farah Ansari converted to Hindu Dharma and married a Hindu man named Ram. She became his ‘Janaki’. The incident is from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. On 30 th December 2023, both got married at the Ayodhya Dham temple under Bhuta Police station’s jurisdiction.
None of their families attended the wedding. The couple has lodged a complaint with the Police and demanded security. Informing about this, the 23-year-old Janaki said, “I have known Ram for many years. We studied together in a private school. Since then, we have been in love with each other. I wanted to marry Ram; so, I accepted Hindu Dharma. After marriage, my name was changed to Janaki. I have done all this at my own free will”.
After completing B. Tech., Ram started taking tuitions in Bhuta. Farah’s family opposed her love affair with a Hindu man. 3 days before the wedding, Farah’s family locked her up in a room and beat her up. On getting information about this, Ram went to her house and took her directly to Bhuta Police station. After that both got married at the Ayodhya Dham temple which falls under Bhuta Police station’s jurisdiction. On this occasion, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Pracharak from Bhuta Mr Sarvendra, Block Manager Paramatma Swaroop and many others blessed the newlywed couple.
