Greta Thunberg pollution rally in Netherland

Recently, a rally was organised in the Netherlands regarding climate change. It is obvious that in any such rally, the discussion should be in the context of pollution prevention; but the discussion in this particular rally was on the liberation of Palestine and opposition to Israel. The culprit was none other than Greta Thunberg.

Greta is known to be a climate activist. So, it was natural for her to participate in the rally; but during the rally, after raising slogans against Israel, she started talking about the liberation of Palestine, which surprised everyone. This led to a man coming onto the stage and telling her : “I have come here for a climate demonstration, not a political view”, before he was ushered off the stage.

Greta, her supporters and those present on the dais were enraged at the man. The man was ushered off the stage, but the mask worn by Greta of being a climate activist for so many years, was ripped apart. Her true nature was revealed to everyone.

She justified her action by saying that ‘We have to listen to the voices of those who are being oppressed and those who are fighting for freedom and for justice. Otherwise, there can be no climate justice without international solidarity’; but the truth is something else.

Needless to add, this amounts to a personality supporting Hamas. Greta (who has gained fame in a short period) must have thought that because people listen to her, they will trust whatever she says; but the people are not fools – they know who to support and who not to. Greta must not forget this.

Insensitive Greta

This is a recent incident in the Netherlands. Some time back, Greta posted on social media X (formerly Twitter) – ‘Week 270. Today we strike in solidarity with Palestine and Gaza. The world needs to speak up and call for an immediate ceasefire, justice and freedom for Palestinians and all civilians affected’. In her post, Thunberg was seen with a placard that read – ‘Stand with Gaza’.

Making such a demand at the age of just 20 is not only surprising but infuriating too. Does Greta, who demanded a ceasefire, consider herself to be wise ? It is clear from her demand that she supports terrorism. Greta’s sympathy for Palestine reflects her so-called humanitarianism. How can such a person be a role model as an environmentalist for the world as well as students ? In fact, everyone should be wary of her.

We should stop considering such Gretas as role models. Greta has no right to talk about climate and pollution. It is incorrect to support a terrorist organisation (Hamas) that took and killed many hostages. Hamas killed children too very brutally. Many girls and women were inhumanely raped. Did Greta not see this ? Did Greta not hear their cries and screams ? How can Greta – as a climate activist – be so insensitive to humanity ? Greta’s statements from this platform, as well as social media posts, are dangerous for the entire world as it heads towards World War 3 because of Hamas.

Israel’s Ministry of Education decided to exclude a lesson on Greta Thunberg from the school curriculum because of her support for Palestine and opposition to Israel. This decision is very correct; because, when fame goes to the head, the ‘respectable’ people in the world feel free to make absurd statements. Naturally, a decision of this nature will at least curb her speech, and other environmentalists will also become alert.

What will students learn from lessons on those who support terrorism and the Khalistan movement ? It is better to avoid such lessons. Just as Israel took immediate measures, other countries too should take a firm stance against such anti-national people.

Hypocritical environmentalists

Why are environmentalists, who behave as if they have taken the contract to protect human rights, silent on Greta’s role now ? Although climate and terrorism affect the whole world, these are completely different issues. Hence, people feel that Greta should avoid making more senseless speeches. Even though she has been doing environmental related work since the age of 11, she should learn to be pragmatic instead of being under the illusion that she knows everything.

In 2021, Greta supported the Khalistan movement when she spoke about the farmers’ agitation in Delhi, India; but she has never raised her voice against the racist atrocities taking place in the USA, the genocide of Hindus in Kashmir, and the atrocities on minorities in Pakistan. Isn’t this hypocrisy ?

Identify the real contaminators

Traitors are dreaming of making Israel a Muslim Nation. Many honourable people have even said that we are moving towards World War 3 through the Israel–Hamas conflict. In such circumstances, these environmentalists are trying to contaminate the world’s environment by supporting terrorism.

It is equally true that the people who oppose pollution are the one’s causing ideological and anti-national pollution. Who are they associated with ? How is their mentality ? Getting this information is essential.

With this, the anti-national faces behind the innocence of environmentalism will come to the fore and they will be exposed for sure.
