Ottawa (Canada) – The allegations made by the US highlight the situation we have been mentioning for quite some time. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has once again stated that all such cases related to the Indian Government should be taken seriously. Trudeau has made this statement after the US arrested an Indian citizen, Nikhil Gupta, in connection with the conspiracy to kill Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. Earlier, Trudeau had accused India of killing Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. At that time, India had rejected this allegation. This allegation has affected the relationship between the two countries.

Although the US has arrested an Indian national for allegedly conspiring to kill Pannun, the charge is yet to be proven. Western countries do not hesitate to make false allegations to pressurise other countries. Iraq’s dictator, Saddam Hussein, was hanged after the US invaded his country by falsely accusing him of possessing chemical weapons. However, in reality, he never had any chemical weapons. Hence, the US and other countries cannot be trusted.
