Agra (UP) – Local Muslims attacked and beat up the Police personnel who tried to arrest a fugitive gangster named Shanu Qureshi in the Khatipara area here. Police personnel’s uniforms were torn, their name badges removed, and their vehicles vandalised. The Police were also threatened to be killed. Police Sub-Inspector Arun Kumar was injured in the assault. The incident took place on the evening of 24th November. The Police have registered a case against 25 individuals including Shanu Qureshi, his father Haji Mohammed, Shanu’s brother, Imran, Gulfam, Aslam, Totla Pathan, Nadeem and others.
