Prayagraj (UP) – The Allahabad University (AU) has started a new 5-year integrated BBA-MBA course from this academic session where it will include teachings from the Bhagwadgeeta, Ramayan, Upanishads and Chanakya. Additionally, the students will be taught management from the decisions of top industrialists like JRD Tata, Azim Premji, Dhirubhai Ambani, Sunil Mittal and Narayan Murthy.
Shefali Nanda, the coordinator of the course, was quoted in a report as saying that students will be given the traditional study of the subject with Spirituality, cultural ethos, human values, a holistic view of life, meditation and stress.
Nanda was further quoted as saying that this new initiative is a significant step in blending ancient wisdom with contemporary education to provide students with a holistic understanding of management in the modern world. She said artificial intelligence and startup management have also been included prominently in the curriculum.
Shrikrushna’s management skills also included
Shrikrushna had complete knowledge of 14 Vidya (Sciences) and 64 Kala (Arts). Through His skillful management, He made the Pandavas, who fought on the side of the Dharma and Truth, win despite limited resources. If students learn these skills, they will succeed in every area of life. In today’s competitive age, students do not get the time to read Bhagwadgeeta. Hence, students will benefit from its knowledge. Nanda said that the teachings of Shrikrushna will be taught in detail to the students.
