Rome – S Jaishankar, the Indian Foreign Minister, opined in the session of Joint Secretaries held in Italy that the attacks on Israel on 7th October were terrorist acts. He continued while commenting upon the war between Israel and Hamas that even after the attack of 7th October more attacks were going on persistently. Terrorism is intolerable; we all should come together to protest against it.

Jaishankar said further,
1. The only solution for this problem is Two States – Israel and Palestine.
2. Palestinians should find a solution to this problem.
3. We can solve any problem through dialogue and mutual agreement.
4. War and terrorism cannot bring about the solution to any problem.
5. In the current situation, it has become necessary to abide by the International Humanitarian Laws.
