Motihari (Bihar) – On Friday, September 29th, a chaotic incident occurred during the Ganpati Visarjan procession in Motihari, Bihar. In the midst of the procession, unidentified individuals reportedly hurled acid at participants, resulting in injuries to three individuals.

The procession of Ganpati Visarjan was taken out in the city. As soon as it left Dwardevi Chowk and reached Madhuban Cantonment Chowk on Meena Bazar main road, some miscreants threw acid at the procession. Meena Bazar is a Muslim-dominated area of the city. An acid-like liquid was found lying on the road.

Following the acid attack, participants of the Ganpati Visarjan procession took a stand, demanding the swift apprehension of those responsible. The incident led to a blockage of Madhuban Cantonment Chowk in Motihari for approximately an hour.

This incident has enraged the Hindus and they have demanded to take a strict action against the concerned individuals. The Police have not yet arrested anyone and have tried to confirm the identity of the culprits.
Similar incidents have taken place in Kushinagar and Badayam in Uttar Pradesh. During the proceedings of the birthday of Mohammed Paigamber on 28th September, Muslims pelted stones at the house of a Hindu. Similarly, the incident of the insult of the Indian National flag took place in Sultanpur. A video in Sultanpur has become viral in which the slogans of ‘Sarr Tan Se Juda’ have been given.

Editorial Perspective

These incidents reveal that the country is unsafe not for Muslims but for Hindus. Now is the time to convey this to the world and to declare India as Hindu Rashtra.
