23 more girls report misuse of Artificial Intelligence to edit their pictures as porn pictures

Case of capturing and circulating obscene pictures of girls

Palghar (Maharashtra) – Another 23 girls have accused that their obscene pictures were created using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and circulated on pornographic websites. A thorough CBI investigation is being demanded in this matter.

1. Jeet Nijai (Age 19), a resident of Kalamb village in Nalasopara (West), had created obscene pictures of girls using AI technology and circulated them on fake ‘Instagram’ accounts as well as on pornographic websites. Arnala Marine Police arrested Jeet Nijai and his brother Yash Nijai after two minor girls lodged a complaint in this case. Obscene pictures of 9 girls were found in Jeet’s mobile phone.

2. The victims have complained to the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister with the help of Agri Sena. Kailas Patil, President of Agri Sena, has alleged that this incident is part of an international ‘sex racket’ as the victims are receiving phone calls from international numbers.

3. The Police have sent Jeet’s mobile phone to the Forensic Lab. A crime has been registered in this matter on 22nd August. The Police informed us that it is not possible to file a separate case for each victim, hence they are recording the statements of all the victims in the registered case.
