Twitter changed its logo Blue Bird (Blue Sparrow) to X

San Francisco (USA) – On 24th July, Twitter replaced its familiar ‘Blue Bird’ (blue sparrow) logo, with the symbol X. Twitter’s Chief Elon Musk and CEO, Linda Yaccarino unveiled the new logo. The new symbol features a white X on a black background.

Musk has shared this symbol on his Twitter account.

Last year, the takeover process of ownership of Twitter was underway; weeks before the final step of process; Musk had revealed his ambition. He had said, “in the next three to five years after buying the establishment, the process of development of my ambitious Everything App, X App (a computer system that can do everything) will be accelerated”.

The reason behind Musk’s adoption of the symbol X is his emotional attachment to the letter. In the year 1999, he had started an online bank called X.com. Later, that was sold to the PayPal. Again, in the year 2017, Musk bought the website back from the PayPal.
