Priests accuse management of gold-scam
Kedarnath (Uttarakhand) – The walls of the sanctum were gold-plated with the donation money of a donor last year. Now the temple priests claim that the sanctum walls are being transformed into brass. A video related to Acharya Santosh Trivedi the Vice-president of Char-Dham Mahapanchayat and senior priest of Kedarnath, published on social media alleging a scam of Rs 125 Crore. He has also made a demand to take action against Badrinath–Kedarnath Mandir Samiti, Uttarakhand Government and Administration, who are responsible for the scam.
Priest Santosh Trivedi has asked why did not the Mandir Samiti check whether it was real gold or not before the walls were gold-plated. All of them were against the gold plating repeatedly. He also warned that if action was not taken after making the inquiries, all priests would start agitation against it.
