Strong earthquake of 6.5 magnitude in Afghanistan kills 19

New Delhi – An earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Richter scale hit across the the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan in the evening of 21st March. The tremors were felt in some cities in India and Pakistan including New Delhi. 10 people died in Afghanistan and 9 in Pakistan. 160 people were injured.

 A Dutch researcher had already predicted an earthquake in Afghanistan

A devastating earthquake struck Turkiye and Syria in February, killing more than 50,000 people. After that Dutch researcher Frank Hogerbeets had predicted that the next earthquake would  strike Afghanistan.
