Strong earthquake of 6.5 magnitude in Afghanistan kills 19

New Delhi – An earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Richter scale hit across the the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan in the evening of 21^st March. The tremors were felt in some cities in India and Pakistan including New Delhi. 10 people died in Afghanistan and 9 in Pakistan. 160 people were injured.

 A Dutch researcher had already predicted an earthquake in Afghanistan

A devastating earthquake struck Turkiye and Syria in February, killing more than 50,000 people. After that Dutch researcher Frank Hogerbeets had predicted that the next earthquake would  strike Afghanistan.
