Durga Saptashati to be recited in every District of Uttar Pradesh on Chaitra Navaratri !

Lucknow (UP) – The Uttar Pradesh Government has issued guidelines to the Divisional Commissioners and Collectors of all Districts and asked them to celebrate Chaitra Navaratri with enthusiasm. The Government has directed to organise recitation of Durga Saptashati and Jaagran for Devi on Chaitra Navaratri in all Devi temples and Shaktipeeths across all Districts. Along with this, it has also asked to organise a recitation of Akhand Ramayan. For this, the Yogi Adityanath Government of Uttar Pradesh will also provide a fund of ₹1,00,000 to each District.

1. All the officials have been asked to complete the preparations for Chaitra Navaratri, which takes place from 22nd – 31st March, by 21st March.

2. The UP Government has ordered to set up of committees in each Taluka and District to carry out all the programmes successfully. Two other officers have also been appointed for the same. Along with this, the participation of women and girls has also been emphasised.

3. Photographs of all programmes organised in temples will be posted on the website of the Department of Culture.

4. A Committee will be formed under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate and this Committee will select who all will participate in the recital.

The Yogi Government should install the statue of Shriram in the Legislative Assembly : Congress

Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam has welcomed the Yogi Government’s decision. Yogi Adityanath is not only the Chief Minister of the State but also the Muthadhipati of a Muth. Therefore, there should be Jaagrans and Kirtans at various places during Navaratri.

An Idol of Shriram should be installed in the Legislative Assembly and in every District Collector’s office. Acharya Pramod Krishnam said that Ramcharitmanas should be recited in every Collectorate, only then it will look like a Hindu Rashtra.
