SP gets the beating too
Narayanpur (Chhattisgarh) – The local tribals gave a call for ‘Bandh’ on the 2nd of January 2023 to oppose the conversions carried out by Christian missionaries. 2. On the day of ‘Bandh’, the SP and the District Collector organised a meeting with all the office bearers from the local tribals. After the meeting, some of the tribals entered and vandalised a church in the area.
3. District Collector Ajit Vasant said that the situation was under control and stringent action would be taken against the attackers by filing cases. Nobody would be spared.
It appears that the citizens are now taking the law into their hands to oppose conversions because there is no law against religious conversions. The Government needs to take serious note of this issue !
