Shri Siddheshwar Swami a renowned seer in Karnataka renounced His body

Vijaypur (Karnataka) –  Shri Siddheshwar Swami of renowned Janan Yogashram renounced His body on 2nd January. He was 81 and sick for some days. He was known as ‘Walking God’ among His devotees. According to the notification of the Karnataka Government, His last rites were performed on 3rd January. Shri Siddheshwar Swami had refused the Padmashri Award 5 years ago saying that, he did not need titles as He was a sanyasi. He had conveyed this to the Prime Minister by writing a letter to him.

PM Narendra Modi and other leaders in the nation have expressed their condolences on His demise. In a tweet, PM said that H.H. Shri Swamiji would be remembered for His unparalleled social service He had toiled for the peoples’ benevolence and respected them for their eminence. He said that may Swamiji’s all devotees get enough strength to bear the loss.

Sanatan’s seekers had met Shri Siddheshwar Swami in a programme in Vijaypur in 2016. Sanatan’s Almanac was released at Swamiji’s hands at that time.

On the dais only, by taking the Almanac in hand Swamiji had appealed to the audience saying that every house should have the Almanac. All 200 Almanacs were distributed in 1 hour there. He was praising Sanatan’s mission and its founder Dr Athavale for uniting all in a very unique manner; Sanatan was doing extremely good work, He had said then.
