The RSS played no part in the struggle for India’s Independence

Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitesh Kumar’s illogical accusations

Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitesh Kumar

Patna (Bihar) –  The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has no contribution in India’s freedom struggle. The Chief Minister of Bihar and the leader of the United Janata Dal Nitish Kumar alleged that the Sangh had nothing to do with the freedom struggle.

Nitish Kumar said that his father had participated in the freedom struggle. He further said that ‘I was born after Independence, but later I learned everything about the freedom struggle. In India’s Independence Movement, we can never forget the contributions of M Gandhi. But nowadays everyone is witnessing what some people are talking about regarding the father of the nation. Nowadays the people are asking to forget about the old Rashtrapita, as a new Rashtrapita has come.’ What has this new Rashtrapitha done for India ? Has he done any work ? In which field has India progressed during his tenure ? They have only used new technology and that too forcefully. Earlier the media used to express their views very clearly irrespective if they in the Government or the opposition; but today the media has to write only what is being dictated to them.

Editorial viewpoints

  • It has been 75 years since India gained Independence. People know what has the Sangh done for Hindus in the freedom struggle. Instead of who contributed how much in the freedom of India, Nitish Kumar should tell what have the socialist leaders done after Independence. They should give an account to the citizens of India as to how much damage they have done to the country by corruption, appeasement of Muslims, mistreatment of Hindus, etc.
  • Nitish Kumar has joined hands with Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal after ditching the  BJP. If Nitish Kumar truly has some courage, then he should talk about how Lalu Prasad Yadav looted the State when he was the Chief Minister !
