Washington – USA is keeping a watch on the India-China issue. We are happy that after the clashes between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh, soldiers on both sides stopped and went their way. We are of the opinion that both countries should hold bilateral discussions. India and China should solve the border issue through discussions, stated Karine Jean-Pierre, the Press Secretary of the White House.

We are committed to the security of our allies, even if China is becoming aggressive against them ! – Pentagon
Pentagon is the Defence Ministry of the USA that has expressed the above views. Pentagon Press Secretary Pat Ryder stated that the USA would remain committed to its stand of protecting its partners. He also ensured support to India for the way India managed to control the situation. The USA was continuously keeping a watch on the developments along the Indo-China border. The whole world knows how China has been deploying its army on the border. China is becoming aggressive against the USA and its allies. China is creating challenges even for other countries, besides creating challenges for India on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The presence of the Chinese army in the Indian Ocean is also a matter of concern.
