Possibility of Martial Law in Pakistan due to the current economic crisis : Claim by a Pakistani Magazine

Islamabad (Pakistan) –  In a report by the Pakistani weekly magazine “The Friday Times”, it has been claimed that with the current crisis in Pakistan there is a possibility of implementing “martial law” (army rule) for 6 months or less in the coming days.

According to the report, Imran Khan’s failure to manage the economy and the rise in inflation is said to be the main reason for his ouster. But even after a change in Government, the situation has not improved. Then after the flood in Pakistan, the crisis has now deepened. Now at this critical stage, Imran Khan is challenging the Government by holding a freedom march in the country. This may however instigate chaos in the country and that is why the military may have to intervene.
