Forcible religious conversion of a Hindu to Islam at Hubballi, Karnataka

• Circumcised and forced to eat beef
• Pressured to convert at least three more Hindus

Hubballi (Karnataka) – Sridhar Gangadhar, a Dalit Hindu, was forcibly converted. A complaint has been filed against 12 persons in the case, but no one has yet been arrested. Gangadhar complained that he came into contact with Attavar Rehman of Mandya District. Rahman took him to Banashankari Masjid in Bangalore. A man named Aziz started teaching him Islamic verses there. He was taken to many mosques, then circumcised and force-fed beef.

When he refused to eat beef, he was beaten up. Apart from it, he was forced to convert at least 3 Hindus to Islam. One day he was given a pistol and photographed with the pistol in his hand.
