The possibility of disharmony cited as the reason

Jaipur (Rajasthan) – Rajasthan Police has issued a notice to the administration of the Hinglaj Mata Temple at Barmer, Rajasthan. It states that no religious activity of any kind should be organised in the temple without permission. Permission should be taken from the administration before doing a religious activity.

BJP’s former MP Tarun Vijay tweeted about this and posted the Police’s letter to the temple. The letter states, ‘The peace may be disturbed in the temple due to factional disputes in the Khanni community. Until this dispute is settled, no religious activity should be held without permission’.
