1. The regional BJP Secretary General N. Ravikumar said that Nehru never listened to Gandhi. He was responsible for the partition of India. Hence, we will never use his photo for the advertisement, he said.
2. The Congress Leader Jayaram Ramesh said that while carrying forward the lineage of Congress, Gandhi, Nehru, Patel and other leaders, we can establish unity in the country as well as defeat the politics of hatred.
The video published by BJP holds Nehru responsible for the partition of India !
The Central Government has declared 14th August as ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ since last year. Accordingly, the BJP state Government has published a video. In the 7 mins video it has been said that Nehru was had a role in the partition of the country and the creation of Pakistan because he had to take his foot back for the demand of the Muslim League Leader Mohammad Ali Jinnah to create Pakistan.
Editorial viewpoint
How is the Karnataka BJP Government wrong ? Congress has completely ignored Swatantryaveer Savarkar to date. Why doesn’t Congress speak about it ? Now if someone is trying to give justice to Veer Savarkar, it is a matter of pride for the patriotics ! |
