
Jaipur (Rajasthan) – Chief Justice NV Ramana has made some statements criticising the Centre in a programme organised here. He said that it was alarming to see that the moral standard of political field in the country declining. Earlier the Government and the opposition had respect for one another. Unfortunately opponents do not have any special position now.

The Chief Justice said further that, laws are being made without profound discussions and verification. Today the party in power is thinking of crushing the opposition. If any individual, saying anything against the Government, is taken as an enemy. This is not a good signal for a transparent democracy in the country.
