Religious fanatics were paid Rs 500 to Rs 1,000 for pelting stones and 5,000 for throwing petrol bombs

Kanpur (UP) – Police have informed that money was paid for pelting stones to Muslim groups for commencing violence in June to oppose Nupur Sharma. It was stated that Rs 500 to Rs 1,000 were given for pelting stones, and Rs 5,000 for throwing petrol bombs.

They were also being assured of free legal assistance in case they got caught by the Police. They were given special training for a week of ‘How to start violence ?’
