Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – The Uttar Pradesh Government has banned the sale of meat on the Kawad Yatra route. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the administrative authorities to clear the route of the Yatra and provide other facilities which include lighting, first aid, etc. The Yatra will start on the 14th of July.

In this regard, the officials said that the local administration has contacted the meat sellers and told them not to sell meat during the Yatra. We have also been assured by traders not to sell meat.
